Saleculator License Key Policy

 
  1. License Validity & Ownership
  • The license has “Lifetime Validity”, meaning it is valid as long as the original registered computer system remains functional.
  • “Lifetime” = The operational lifespan of the registered computer hardware (not the software’s lifetime).
  • Example: If the computer runs for 4 years, the license remains valid for 4 years on that system.
  • The license is non-transferable by default and locked to the original PC hardware (based on system fingerprint).
  1. License Transfer Conditions
    • System failure within 1 year
      → Free license transfer to a new device
      (Proof of hardware failure required)

    • System replacement within 1–3 years
      → License transfer available with a fee of 250 USD/AED/SAR/QAR
      (Contact support to initiate transfer)
    • System replacement after 3 years
      → License transfer not permitted
    • Unauthorized transfer attempt
      → License will be blocked
      (Reactivation requires support approval)
  1. How to Deactivate & Transfer License

Step 1: Remove License File

  • Windows: Delete → `C:\Users\[Device-Name]\license.sig`
  • Linux: Run → “rm saleculator.sig” in root

Step 2: Deactivate in Saleculator POS 

  • Open the software.
  • When prompted for a license, enter: “DEACTIVATE”
  • Click “Activate” button (confirms deactivation).

Step 3: Activate on New System

  • Install Saleculator POS on the new PC.
  • Enter the original license key (or contact support if transferring after 1 year).
  1. Important Notes
  • No Refunds – Lifetime license is tied to hardware, not the user.
  • Reinstalling OS? License remains valid (same hardware). 
  • Changing Motherboard/HDD/SSD? Treated as a new system(transfer rules apply).
